GENERAL CONDITIONS
NSW COMPULSORY CPD
The Continuing Professional Development Requirements provide that:
- Individual holders of a class 1 or class 2 licence must complete four hours of compulsory learning each year in a face-to-face or other interactive learning environment.
- Compulsory learning topics are determined annually by the Property Services Commissioner.
- All CPD training in the property sector can only be delivered by an approved provider.
- Bookings are not confirmed until the cost of the course has been paid in full
- Course material will not be supplied until the cost of the course has been paid in full
CANCELLATION POLICY
- Once enrolment and payment have been processed, no refund is applicable.
- Following successful enrolment and payment, we will email training materials directly to the student.
- Due to new rules regarding maximum of 25 attendees, if you cannot make your allocated session date you must provide us with 5 business days’ notice or find someone to replace your spot, otherwise you forfeit your payment
COURSE DELIVERY
NSW COMPULSORY CPD
- RMC Compulsory CPD training is delivered via Blended Learning – which is a combination of face-to-face learning and correspondence.
- Real Mastery provides Compulsory CPD Training as a NSW Fair Trading approved provider.
- Real Mastery also provides Compulsory CPD Training with the NSW Fair Trading approved provider Real Estate Institute of ACT.
- The compulsory learning topics specified in the CPD requirements on the Fair Trading website are the topics required to be delivered by approved providers.
- The content and delivery of the course has been developed in accordance with the compulsory topic outlines.
- The training is delivered in an interactive environment (whether face-to face or via ZOOM).
- Face to face sessions are capped at 40 attendees
- Sessions delivered via ZOOM are capped at 25 attendees
ASSESSMENT
The compulsory topic outline specifies the assessment method/s required to evaluate whether an individual has achieved the required competence for each compulsory learning topic.
Real Mastery will;
- complete assessments in accordance with the relevant compulsory topic outline
- conduct the assessment methods or activities with integrity and in a manner that reliably assesses outcomes of learning
- ensure that assessment conditions capture the original work of the registered participant and prevent cheating, including plagarism
- ensure adequate measures are implemented to prevent a person other than the registered participant from completing the assessment
- ensure that when undertaking any assessment activity, the trainer will not provide a student with the correct answers to a question, or advise a student their knowledge or answer is incorrect, before the assessment has concluded
- only deem a student competent once all assessment activities are satisfactorily completed.
- This course equals five (5) hours of Compulsory CPD and is for Class 1 and Class 2 Agents only and covers the categories of Real Estate, Real Estate – Sales & Leasing, Stock & Station and Strata
FRAUD PREVENTION
- Real Mastery offer CPD training through face to face delivery (including electronic such as ZOOM and blended learning).
- If this is your fist time training with Real Mastery, Real Mastery’s facilitators will personally site relevant government issued identification ie current Drivers Licence to ensure training and assessments are being completed by the actual individual and in the individuals correct legal name.
- When a course is delivered via ZOOM every participant must have a working camera and microphone to be able to complete the training.
- If a participant does not have a working camera and microphone they will not be able to join the training session.
RECORD KEEPING
As an approved provider, must retain records for a period of four years. Real Mastery must maintain register including;
- the participant’s name as shown on their property and stock agent licence, licence number, email address and phone number, and
- the results of any assessment required by the compulsory topic outline.
- Real Mastery will provide each participant, within 10 business days, a written notice, in the form of a certificate of attendance, (including an electronic copy) demonstrating completion of the compulsory topic including the following information:
- the participant’s name as shown on their licence, licence number, email address and phone number
- the results of any assessment required by the compulsory topic outline
- the title of the compulsory learning topic that was completed
- the date, time and place the compulsory topic was undertaken
- the method of delivery of the compulsory topic
- the duration in hours for completion of the compulsory topic
- the type of assessment, and
- the name of the approved provider and person delivering the topic. If the provider or person delivering is registered with ASQA, details of their registration details.
- approved providers must guarantee in writing on the record of completion that the person named attended and participated in the course for its duration.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
- Real Mastery use the third-party STRIPE for the processing of all credit card payments.
- A 0.8% processing fee will be charged to each individual credit card payment.
