It’s a requirement and NSW Fair Trading can (and does) ask to see it.

What a great training plan covers
- Compulsory CPD for your Class 1 and Class 2 Agents
- Assistant Agent training – the three licence units due each CPD year (we break it down person-by-person, since everyone’s at a different point in their 18 units)
- Elective training your team is picking up
- Start dates for each staff member – ties straight back to your staff register if you’re on the RMC Supervision Guidelines
- A living document – prepared annually, updated monthly, so it reflects what’s actually happening

The fine print
Clause 8.2 of the Supervision Guidelines is clear: the Licensee in Charge is responsible for making sure the whole team gets their CPD done. Fair Trading sets the minimumstandard template – filling it out well is on you. Or, easier still, on us.
