ACT CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION
To become a real estate agent in the ACT, you need to complete the Certificate of registration course to be able to apply to Access Canberra.
Qualification requirements
In order to apply for the Registration Certificate, candidates must provide a Statement of Attainment showing successful completion of the following units of competency:
- CPPDSM4007A – Identify legal and ethical requirements of property management to complete agency work
- CPPDSM4008A – Identify legal and ethical requirements of property sales to complete agency work
- CPPDSM4080A – Work in the real estate industry
- CPPDSM4009B – Interpret legislation to complete agency work
- CPPDSM4015B – Minimise agency and consumer risk
MRT Training is the accredited course provider and conducts this program in association with Real Mastery Pty Ltd Real Mastery Pty Ltd and MRT Training (RTO 41529) have a contracted Third Party Arrangement. MRT Training will issue the qualification once they are satisfied you have successfully completed all the requirements of the course.
How long does it take?
You have 90 days to complete the course after enrolling. We have 3 options available some include one on one mentoring or trainer assistance as required.

- At least 18 years of age
- Has the required qualifications
- Fit and proper person to hold a certificate of registration
- Statement of attainment – showing successful completion of the five units of competency
- Not a disqualified person

Can I renew a Registration Certificate?
Yes you can as long as you meet the yearly CPD requirements. –if you obtain your registration within the 1st CPD year ie. 1st November to 31st October contact access Canberra to confirm to amount of CPD needed.
How long does the course take?
Depends on the learning option you choose.
What level of trainer support will I receive?
Depends on the course option you choose – either 1, 2 or 3.
What is the success rate for your students finishing?
RMC enjoys over a 95% completion rate. We are available to answer and question you have and will actively follow you up to ensure you stay on track.
